Laundries rooms seem to emanate mess and eat table space. A laundry room folding table wall-mounted is a perfect addition because it gives room when needed, so it sticks away after use. For this project, purchase two special connectors called “retractable brackets.” These supports may be available at the local center for the home, or they may need special order. Select the brackets built to hold at least 100 pounds. You will also need to recruit help for this project. Wan to have liked this? Lets we build it. Starting with determine how high you want the table to stand once extended. Most tables are between 30 and 34 inches tall.
Draw a flat line on the wall 1 1/2 inches lower than the desired height on account of the thickness of the table top. Use the finder pin to locate two consecutive pins in the wall. Mark the wall at the stud’s position. It will then puncture some furring strips and the cabinet brackets for the studs inside the wall. Measure the length of one side of the retractable bracket. Cut two furring strips, every 1 inch longer than this measurement. Screw the first furring strips to the wall at reach studs using 1 1/4-inch screws. Repeat the operation for the other furring strip.

Screw the cabinet brackets to the furring strips on the wall using the 2 1/2 inch screws. Extend the cabinet brackets to their “out” position. Measure the length of the wall mounted laundry folding table. Cut a furring strip according to this measurement. Screw the furring strip onto the front bottom of the table on the side of the table that will extend into the room. The furring strip adds strength and gives the stirrups screws something to grab. Have a helper lift the table over the extended cupboard brackets and hold the top in place. If the table is near a wall or fixture, move it to leave a 1/8-inch space between the table and the wall or fixture.
Go under the table while your helper holds the piece in place. Make a mark at the seats of the two cabinet brackets on the lower part of the table top. Attach furring strips to these marks to protect the brackets at the table. Remove the table from the brackets. Measure and cut the furring strips according to the marks. Screw the tabs onto the bottom of the table top. These provide reinforcement for the brackets. Place the table on the brackets. Place the brackets over the furring strips installed on the underside of the table top. Screw the laundry folding station to the brackets with the 1 1/4-inch screws.
